I doubt there really is a connection between The Zodiac and Bohemian Grove, but it's interesting to ponder anyway's. There were 2 differant people who apparently don't know eachother and both claim to have been kidnapped and one taken to Bohemian Grove and the other to a similar place in a diff. state. Both say that people in the elite that belong to these secret society's were forced to strip and run and the grounds being chased in a game they played and would recite some of the same words the zodiac used, "This is the Zodiac speaking, I like killing people because it is so much fun. It is more fun than killing wild game in the forest because man is the most dangerous animal of all to kill..." ... This was when the zodiac spoke of the game he played which was the same game as the people said they had to play when they were kidnaped.
Like I said I don't think there is a connection here but interesting to think about and I like to get my hands on everything about Bohemian Grove as well.

I'm not familiar with the Bohemian Grove case. Can you give me some more information on it? -

Re: Bohemian Grove connection?
Tue, March 16, 2004 - 2:51 PMBohemian Grove is in Sonoma County, Northern Ca. It's a "fraternity" type place hidden away in the woods. Lots of security. The people who work there are escorted in vans to the room the work in from where they park and can only stay in that area. There are a bunch of different campsites for different groups/ranks of people. They worship a 45 foot stone owl named Molech. Same Molech as the druids worshiped. Molech is also written about in the bible (no I'm not religious) in Leviticus mostly. One of the verses warns of people who worship Molech in the grove. They do a "mock" or maybe a real sacrafice every July during the Cremation of Care ritual said to be a ritual that will allow the elite to have no guilt when they screw the rest of us over. A lot of big decisions are made there, political ones. The Bushes, Kissenger and many others participate. This is probably the highest ranking secret society. I have a video of The Cremation of Care ritual but you can also see all of it or a clip of it here ... www.infowars.com
you can see it for free or buy it like I did. Also there's a new book Alex (the host of the site and the guy who snuck in to tape the ritual) was sent by a member, I haven't read it yet but I believe it's all posted on the site also. I think everyone in America should see this. Lemme know what you think.

Re: Bohemian Grove connection?
Sat, March 20, 2004 - 5:56 AMOh yeah, now I remember. There's a good book called "Them" that talks about Bohemian Grove. The author actually witnessed the cremation ritual. As a Pagan, I have to say I'm offended (by them, not you) by people ripping off "rituals" and not giving them the proper spiritual respect. Assholes. The sacrifices carried out by the Druids actually *meant* something, not that I'm condoning human sacrifice. :-) I will now step-down from my soapbox.
Anyway, I don't think there's a connection. Zodiac was a loner and he wouldn't have trusted anyone. He killed for himself, for his own pleasure. God, it feels gross just typing that. Yuck! -

Tue, March 23, 2004 - 4:07 AMMaybe.... just maybe.... the ones who did the kidnapping (if they did) looked at Zodiac as a hero. Guess we'll never know.

Re: Bohemian Grove connection?
Wed, April 28, 2004 - 11:48 AMThere's also a short story called "The Most Dangerous Game" by a fellow named Richard Connell. I had to read it twice during high School English classes, and would not be at all surprised if that's where Zodiac got the phrase he used.
As much as the Bohemian Grove rituals are abhorant, I personally don't believe there's any connection with the Zodiac. If the power-elite were kidnapping people and hunting them for sport out there, I think either we'd heave heard more than this, or nothing at all. Where did you hear of this, Banshee? I'd love to look into it more. My stepfather has been an 'artist-in-residence' at the Grove on more than one retreat. He's talked about set-building up there, and drag shows, but nothing more. He's not the kinda guy who would sit still for human sacrifice ;) But, this is why secret societies are secret, eh? -

Re: Bohemian Grove connection?
Wed, April 28, 2004 - 3:12 PMI agree and besides, I think the power-elite could find some place a *bit* more secluded for their human hunts, like an island or something.

Re: Bohemian Grove connection?
Fri, May 7, 2004 - 7:13 PMI heard The Zodiac got "The Most Dangerous Game" speech from a play but maybe it was from the short story. I heard of this hunting for sport thing from 2 books of 2 different people talking about 2 different elite retreats... but don't remember the title of eigther book, anyone else? Anyways one was from a girl and one was from a guy and it's all posted on www.infowars.com somewhere and they have a bohemian grove section there as well, which shows the human "mock" sacrafice they do every July in a video clip or you can watch the whole thing. -

"The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell
Fri, May 7, 2004 - 7:30 PMYeah, there's a short story called "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell. The premise is that this Russian big-game hunter has taken possession of an island near where ships tend to wreck. Bored with hunting animals, the Russian now hunts sailors who survive the ship wrecks. Here's a link to the text of the story. God I love the Internet!
