My Encounter
Sat, March 6, 2004 - 1:51 PMI went to Vallejo a few years back to hang out with my cousin Harley Hogg. We went on a little driving trip to Lake Herman road to see the Zodiac Landmark and also to put the car in neutral at the bottom of the hill & watched it go back up the hill by itself. lol. Next we went to a house at 32 Fresno St. where Arthur Allen's lived at the time. He just so happened to be outside wearing shorts and a hawaiian (sp?) shirt washing an ice blue and white chevy. I didn't see the fact he had that car in the police report which i assumed it would be because, that's one of the vehicle's the zodiac is know to have driven. Of course maybe Arthur didn't purchase that car until later. Anyway's he watched us as we drove slowly by his house and he seemed to know why we were checking him out, so we took off a little fast. lol. -

Wed, March 10, 2004 - 9:40 AMThere was an article in the Napa and Vallejo Newspapers listing deailed information about why they thought Mr. Allen was the Zodiac Killer. Since the stories of the Zodiac Killer are well known throughout Vallejo, my best friend and I decided to look his name up in the Vallejo phone book.
There he was...lised in black and white. We go chills just thinking about calling him. What if he was really the Zodiac Killer???
So, we pick up the phone, I dialed and my best friend picked up the other end to listen in.....
ZC: Hello
HH: Yes, Could I please speak with Mr. Allen?
ZC: Speaking
HH: Hi, I was wondering I could ask you a few questtions?
ZC: OK.....(
HH: Well as I'm sure you are aware, there is an article about you in the Vallejo Times-Hearld and the Napa Newspaper...
ZC: Yea, It's been really hectic with all the press asking questions...
HH: Well, are you the Zodiac Killer?
ZC: Of course not, the police just want to point there finger at someone, it just happens to be me. I'm a collector of Zodiac items, that's not a crime!
HH: Well, I'm sorry to have bothered you, but thank you for answering my questions. I won't bother you again.
ZC: I can assure you they are focusing on the wrong person, I just with the'd leave me alone.
HH: Bye...
ZC: Bye
So that was the conversation. Mr. Allen was very pleasant and did seem to have a personality of a "Crazy Serial Killer".

Wed, March 10, 2004 - 2:02 PMOne day my parents were out at the ol' lovers lane in Vallejo when they felt they were being watched, my dad was spooked and he never gets spooked. He was spooked enough to leave and the next day the first killing occured at the same spot. Mr. Allens also has the same B-day as my dad. My dad's ex was Darlene Ferrin's sister ... Darlene was killed by the Zodiac and Mr. Allen is known to have had a crush on her. She apparently told her sister she was scared of a man named Leigh who was stalking her. Mr. Allen sometime went by that name.
